We return to the Sun Bowl for an exciting evening filled with some high stakes poker and some home grown celebs raising money for a good cause happening right here at Sun city, Africa’s premier holiday destination.

Proceeds from the CHARITY SLAM are going to the Mazibuko Professional Golf Academy, which actively develops golf skills amongst the disadvantaged underprivileged youth in the North West. The money will be used for resources and to extend the programme in local communities.

The programme is run by Gary Player Country Club Caddy, Peter Mazibuko. The youngsters are transported to the resort, courtesy of Sun City, given lunch and then enjoy their weekly lesson on the course’s driving range. After they have completed the eight week course, they get to play a full round of golf.

Yesterday was as exciting watching high speed car chase. The FAST JAM format providing with more stories than my poor typing skills could handle. Nav Naiker in the end the victor, and to the victor comes the spoils as he lifted the sleek FAST JAM trophy and the cash that comes with it. Nav’s and I joked how we’re both serial underachievers who’ve never won trophies, well Navs you’ve got one for the mantle, I on the other hand was empty handed and to make matters worse I ran into Divan Le Roux who called me Steve and told me I had to polish the SUPER SLAM trophy when he wins it tomorrow/Friday.

Today’s events kick off with the CHARITY JAM at 6pm as Celebrities will be among the poker addicts fighting it out. Soccer legend Mark Williams and badass EFC fighter ‘Soldier Boy’ Garreth McLellen are in today’s field. Play has began on the dot and I see Tutu Russon taking a seat. Good luck brother love.

The GRAND SLAM begins at 7pm and we’re expecting the hustlers and some heroics. I have no doubt Bozo will fight tooth and nail to retain his legacy. For me Bozo always rocks the party, and he doesn’t disappoint.
